Alma Flamenca

There are no age requirements for dancing flamenco. The only thing you gotta have is a soul!

That's why I decided to go back to flamenco.

I swear I tried to think about a Japanese dance or art to practice and perform... I mean, I'm living in Japan, come on! But all of them are more related to repeating movements, training the perfection without necessarily feeling what you're doing and socializing it.

I also tried to start ballet again. But I was feeling soooo old and that I woul never be able to perform it in public again... I dance for my own sanity, but for sure it is amazing to prepare a public performance by the end of a year or a semester.

But, when I listen to flamenco songs, claps, and so on, immediately my legs and my arms start moving, even though I'm not that trained in Bulerías, Tangos and Alegrías. So, I got an amazing professor, who even had perfect spare shoes to sell me! I've never had such great flamenco shoes! In my second class, my hands were moving very well again and my feet are just getting around with the rhythm.
